The Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph is a special edition timepiece that pays tribute to a significant moment in space exploration history. On August 2, 1971, during the Apollo 15 mission, a moon pilot chronograph customized by Bulova engineers for lunar conditions was worn on the moon by the mission commander, making space history.

Now, Bulova is making history once again with the release of the Lunar Pilot Chronograph. This advanced chronograph features a stainless steel screw-back case in a silver-tone finish, paired with a black dial and sapphire glass. Showcasing Bulova's proprietary Precisionist accuracy, this timepiece offers 1/1,000-second precision over a twelve-hour time frame, with accuracy to within seconds a year.

The Lunar Pilot Chronograph's features include a multiple-layer black carbon fiber, blue, silver and black dial, chronograph measurement of hours, minutes, seconds, 1/10-seconds, 1/100-seconds and 1/1,000-seconds, a yellow continuously sweeping second hand, luminous hour and minute hands, luminous markers, a tachymeter, a calendar, a screw-back case, a screw-down crown, and a double-press fold-over clasp with safety lock. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.

This special edition timepiece is part of Bulova's Lunar Pilot Collection, which honors the legacy of the original Bulova chronograph worn on the moon during the Apollo 15 mission.
